Working with web safe colours

Web safe colours form the basis for much of the Ignite interface, and this fundamental requirement is reflected throughout Ignite. This means high quality - repeatable - results with minimum effort.

The Ignite Colour Picker

With Ignite you can...

• use the default web safe colour palette in the Colour Picker
• choose a new colour from the colour wheel in the Colour Picker and have Ignite automatically select the nearest matching web safe colour for you
• select an individual colour in your bitmap and make it web safe
• adjust the percentage of web safe colours included in your palette

• You can select a colour in several ways...

  • using the web palette slider control
  • using RGB, HSV or CMYK values, represented in either Decimal, Hex or as a Percentage
  • use the colour wheel itself

Always web safe
By selecting Use nearest web safe colour, Ignite automatically ensures the colour you choose is web safe.
